Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Nurse Navigator to join our team! This position would be Monday through Friday for 8 hour shifts during the business hours of 7:30 am to 5 pm. This position also includes the benefit of no weekends, no evenings, and paid time off for holidays.

As a Nurse Navigator, you have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, guide them through some of the most challenging moments of their healthcare journey, and make a lasting difference in their lives. This role goes beyond traditional nursing—it is an opportunity to advocate for patients, provide support and guidance, and help make their healthcare experience more manageable. Essential Duties:
  • Guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery 
  • Educate and empower patients and caregivers 
  • Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams 
  • Help patients overcome barriers related to transportation, finances, nutrition, and support services 
  • Advocate for patients and ensure timely, high-quality care 
  • Provide proactive follow-up and care management to improve outcomes 


Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher) 
  • Active Ohio RN License 
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience 
  • Oncology, acute care, care coordination, patient navigation, or case management experience preferred 
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
